New York City!

We just finished our last team meeting together, talking about this past week and thanking the Lord in prayer for all His many blessings. What a great day of contrasts this has been after our time serving together in Haiti.  We have truly seen God's mercies and kindness to us. I think every person on the team has grown in their faith in the Lord and their knowledge of His blessings.

Today we took various forms of public transportation to get over the New York City from Newark and spent the day walking around seeing many of the well-known sights. All of us are weary from miles of walking!  It was a beautiful day, and we are so grateful to have had this opportunity for a day of contrasts from the thatch hut village on the Central Plateau we left just yesterday morning!

Tomorrow morning Annie and Abbie Ferguson head back to Dayton, Ohio while the rest of the team have a flight back to Detroit at 2:35. The kids ALL want to sleep in tomorrow! So I'll sign off for now, post some pictures tomorrow morning from our day today (the hotel's internet is slow tonight), and let you know that some of the kids want to write more reflections on the week in the next couple days. Thanks again for your prayers for us.  We truly saw the Lord's provision for us!
