Random photos from our week...

Out the window of the bus on the way to HAFF.  A Haitian tap-tap (public bus).

Many spiritual messages are painted on the tap-taps.

An unfinished post-earthquake housing project....stalled.

Our excellent driver to HAFF.  Nader's brother, Johnson.

Up to a couple years ago, driving to HAFF from Port-au-Prince in a bus would have been impossible.
Now National Highway #3 has been paved most of the way by the European Union.

I guess we could have traveled this way!

Marty and Kiera on the dorm porch our first night in Haiti.

Daniel "waking up" under his mosquito netting.

Colin Wilson explaining the various ministries which work out
of HAFF's Administrative Building.

The agricultural tour. So...is Mark yawning or grimacing?

HAFF's latest water project...a water tower!

I think Daniel has potential to be on the varsity whiffle ball team!

We loved teaching the Haitian youth how to play baseball using
a whiffle ball set!

Some of them got the hang of it right away.

Others had trouble getting down the form of the swing

Marty was a GREAT teacher!  Here he is with Derold
our team host from HAFF's Executive Team

Many of our teens commented on how Handel's singing was
one of their sweetest memories.

At the sugar cane press.  This young man was mute most of his child-hood.

We ALL were amazed at his job of keeping the oxen going.

Bringing freshly cut cane to the press.

Pastor Hausler with the NorthPointe High School students from our group at the cane press.

Everyone got to gnaw on and taste raw sugar cane.
(Daniel, Brody, Monica, Kiera and Arielle)

Airelle and Daniel are too cool for words

Playing in the street.

Sitting in watching our group as we heard about Project Healthy Families.

Lydia and a new friend.

Kids outside their home after a house-visit. Notice their father's hoe.  The main
tool of the Haitian farmer.

Annie, Abbie and Brody walking down a cactus-lined path for a home visit.

Notice how swept clean the courtyard is!

Becky Wilson and kids from a local church.

Such joy!

We all love Haitian kids.

Big sister is checking on the sibs.

What will the Lord do with her life?

Explaining one of HAFF's ministries to the broader community,
Carla Wilson interprets for a Haitian pastor.

Although it is the dry season, things look pretty lush!  We had cool nights
and 80 degree days.

A school soccer team warmed up while we played with our friends from HAFF's school.

Our kids mixed in well with the Haitian players.

Madame Destorel making French toast.

A little kicking around of a soccer ball during down time.

Pastor Hausler beginning the Bible conference for church leaders.

The wife of a local pastor who helped roast coffee for our team during the Bible conference.

The Bible conference was on select passages from Romans.

The men come with such hungry hearts to learn God's Word!

The represented many different kinds of Haitian churches.

Kids are the same everywhere you go.
